Position Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the digital marketing strategy and managing the market-facing campaigns at AutoGrid. The role will also be responsible for optimizing online marketing tools and programs such as website customer interface, SEM and social / mobile media integrated with product marketing, campaign management, etc. The Marketing Manager will also manage customer and industry events including pre-event, on-site and post-event activities. The position will work very closely with key internal stake holders to develop core objectives to engage the electricity industry and build marketing programs needed to support the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes digital marketing programs that support overall sales and marketing plans

  • Analyzes and tracks sire performance against established goals.
  • Innovates, integrates and implements new marketing technologies and tools to drive content marketing program performance.

Marketing Programs

  • Determines appropriate communication vehicles and mix strategies to support integrated program / campaign objectives and performance targets.
  • Established communication strategies for campaign efforts by audience, geography and segment.
  • Determines most effective segment / vertical sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity.
  • Establish and implement internal communications strategy

Market Engagement

  • Works within marketing organization and business leaders to increase visibility, education and awareness to key industry audiences using press releases, case studies, press briefings, featured stories, speaking opportunities and analyst briefings.
  • Identifies and engages with the most appropriate local players (reference customers, partners, agencies, distributors, thought leaders, journalists, influencers) to expand the campaign reach and effectiveness.

Events

  • Develops and maintains events strategy and calendar.
  • Manages event logistics including pre-event, on-site and post-event activities.
  • Proposes budgets and forecasts, and compiles summaries of total event costs, cost-per- contact, audience profiles and attendees’ comments

Other Responsibilities

  • Manages relationships with outside vendors/makes vendor recommendations
  • Leads audience-based marketing program strategy, including opportunity analysis, marketing plan development and execution.
  • Help us create quality products, have fun, make money.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 10 years of digital and programs marketing experience in a software environment or the electric power industry.
  • Detail oriented with strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadline-oriented projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing tactics including outbound/push and inbound/pull tactics.
  • Advanced ability to lead the creation, execution and measurement of a successful marketing campaign.
  • Advanced search engine marketing skills and knowledge of social, mobile platforms – strategy and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience working as part of a global distribution team.
