Position Description

The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for executing AutoGrid’s go to market approach for the product portfolio. In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of the industry to manage the overall product roadmap, maintain the pricing strategy and translate technical artifacts into market-facing sales tools. 

Responsibilities

Manage the AutoGrid Product Roadmap

  • Build and execute product release marketing plans
  • Participate in identification of market opportunities, and merge into product strategy
  • Maintain product roadmap documentation
  • Review all RFx’s to distill product gaps

Maintain the Pricing and Packaging Strategy

  • Work with Product Management to define application models, features, functionality and capabilities
  • Articulate packaging and pricing for AutoGrid’s application suite
  • Manage SKUs for AutoGrid offerings

Develop and Maintain Product and Market-facing Assets

  • Create standard presentations and demo scripts
  • Identify primary business users, and elaborate value propositions using cases and stories
  • Increase visibility, education and awareness to key industry audiences through press releases, case studies, press briefings, speaking opportunities and analyst briefings

Represent the Voice of the Customer with AutoGrid

  • Represent the voice of the customer in the product development process with product management and engineering teams
  • Develop and grow a customer reference program

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the demand creation strategy and liaises with outbound marketing to provide demand generation program content / assets
  • Provides inputs into events strategy, including recommended event
  • Develop sample RFx that customers can use to inform their procurement, highlighting AutoGrid’s unique differentiation

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of all aspects of product marketing and programs, including persona-based marketing, solution selling, channel alignment, and digital marketing
  • Experience in Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, big data, machine learning, cloud, and enterprise SaaS software
  • 5 to 10 years in software product marketing; 3+ years of experience with cloud SaaS and big data products
  • Passion for great products, and a desire to delight customers
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to independently write or edit customer-facing or external communications and adeptly demonstrate products
  • Willingness to travel to meet customers and partners 25% of the time
