Opportunity Overview

  • Design and develop features, services, components and web user interfaces for AutoGrid’s products 
  • Collaborate closely with an agile team of software, QA, DevOps engineers and product managers to manage complete software lifecycle including requirements, architecture, development and testing
  • Mentor junior developers as a team lead
  • Assist DevOps in troubleshooting issues in production and demo systems

About You

  • 5+ years of experience building elegant user interfaces and workflows from scratch
  • Experience of complete development life cycle from concept to release
  • Extensive hands on experience with the following technologies:
    • JavaScript frameworks:  Angular 2, JQuery, NodeJS
    • Web 2.0 technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Experience visualizing data or generating charts/graphs
  • Solid understanding of data structures, coding standards, best practices, software design, architecture.
  • Passionate about developing high-performance websites by leveraging current profiling tools 
  • Structured and strong in producing semantic markup and clean CSS
  • Experience with cross browser compatibility and testing using frameworks like Jasmine
  • Being able to write thorough unit testing (Cucumber, etc.) with high code coverage
  • Self-driven, motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodology for product development
  • Proven ability and desire to deliver projects on time with high quality
  • Experience in designing and developing large scale, distributed enterprise business solutions
  • BS or MS in computer science or related field

  • Experience with:
    • Ruby on Rails
    • MySQL
