Head of Cybersecurity will be responsible for driving and executing strong cybersecurity practices throughout AutoGrid’s rapidly growing global customer base. This role requires deep engagement with engineering, cloud operations and field engineering teams that integrate AutoGrid’s software platform with industrial control systems.  Ideal candidate must be detail oriented with strong analytical risk assessment skills and technical skills that can work cross-functionally across the organization.



  • Provide technical leadership, solution design, and hands on support for security controls for AutoGrid’s cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Perform detailed technical analysis of AutoGrid’s cloud-based control of Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Implement systems and processes to assess and remediate risks in AutoGrid’s cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and operate a vulnerability management program for cloud and on-premise infrastructure
  • Develop and align security controls with compliance frameworks, certifications and energy industry regulations
  • Assist in responding to customer driven inquiries on AutoGrid’s security controls
  • Develop security detection and response capabilities. Lead incident response efforts.
  • Advise architects and engineers on “building security into” product designs and infrastructure
  • Security knowledge and tooling
    • Maintain strong awareness of events in the security community Identify threats and opportunities for enhancing AutoGrid’s security posture
    • Evaluate, test, implement and support third party security tools
    • Coordinate with security vendors as needed for security testing and to ensure security tooling is tuned and working
  • Security assessment and audit support
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments for both compliance and security purposes
    • Conduct risk assessments to determine risks to the application. Present risks to operations and engineering teams with concise, risk-based recommendations.  Collaborate across the company to develop and track remediation plans.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements applicable to AutoGrid
    • Execute the planning, maintenance, development and implementation of technical controls and policies and procedures associated with AutoGrid’s compliance requirements
    • Develop policies & procedures, secure process control network design, technical and design recommendations for the implementation of network based security controls in public and private clouds



  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required, in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. MS preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in security
  • Understanding of security principles and good knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, backed up with suitable credentials or certifications
  • Experience with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments, network/application penetration tests, and the tools/techniques involved in both
  • Experience in the capabilities and/or configuration of cybersecurity controls, specifically those relating to cloud technologies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong collaboration, listening, written and oral communication skills are a must
  • Experience with network infrastructure
